Couples Counselling & LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy
Warm, inclusive, and trauma-informed counselling in West End, Brisbane and online across Australia for individuals and couples navigating relationships, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, identity concerns, and life transitions.
Support for Relationships, Identity, and Emotional Wellbeing.
Many people come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel sustainable.
Sometimes relationships begin feeling distant or reactive. Sometimes anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, or emotional shutdown become difficult to manage alone.
Therapy offers a supportive space to better understand yourself, your relationships, and the emotional patterns underneath distress, conflict, or disconnection.
My approach is warm, relational, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming, with a focus on creating emotional safety while helping clients move towards meaningful and lasting change.

A Warm, Relational, and Trauma-Informed Approach
My approach to counselling is grounded in emotional safety, genuine connection, and practical support.
I work collaboratively with individuals and couples to better understand the emotional patterns, protective strategies, attachment experiences, and relationship dynamics that may be contributing to distress, conflict, anxiety, or disconnection.
Therapy is not about judgement or “fixing” people. It is about creating space to explore experiences with curiosity, compassion, and greater understanding.
Depending on your needs and goals, therapy may integrate relational therapy, attachment-focused work, trauma-informed approaches, Gottman Method principles, emotional regulation strategies, mindfulness-based techniques, and practical tools for communication and self-awareness.
Sessions are tailored to each person or couple, recognising that no two experiences or relationships are the same.
