I work with individuals and couples who are ready for more than just getting by. Most of the people I see aren't looking for surface-level coping strategies, they want clarity, deeper connection, and real, lasting change in how they relate to themselves and others.
My work is grounded in helping people understand why they feel, react, and relate the way they do, especially when it comes to relationships. Whether that’s patterns that keep repeating, difficulties with intimacy, or feeling disconnected despite trying your best, we take the time to make sense of it together and shift it in a meaningful way.
Alongside relationship work, I support clients who have experienced trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma (C-PTSD), and attachment-related wounds. I’ve worked closely with survivors of child sexual abuse, sexual assault, as well as first responders and emergency service personnel. I understand that trauma doesn’t just live in the past. It shapes the nervous system, identity, relationships, and the way you move through the world, often quietly and beneath the surface.
My interest in this work isn’t just professional, it’s personal. I’ve always been drawn to understanding relationships. How we love, how we protect ourselves, and how we can unknowingly repeat patterns that don’t serve us. Like many of the people I work with, I understand what it means to navigate vulnerability, identity, conflict, and growth within relationships. That lived understanding shapes how I show up in the room. Present, real, and genuinely invested.
As a gay man, I’m especially passionate about creating affirming, grounded spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples. I understand the layers that can come with identity. Family expectations, shame, cultural messaging, attachment wounds, and the pressure to “get it right.” You won’t need to explain or justify those experiences here.
Clients often tell me they feel both supported and gently challenged in our work together. I’m warm, steady, and relational, but also honest and direct when it matters. I believe therapy should feel safe, but it should also help you move forward in a way that actually changes your life.
Outside of the therapy room, I value depth, honesty, and connection in my own relationships. That same intention carries into my work. When you sit down with me, you’re not just speaking to a therapist. You’re working with someone who genuinely cares about the quality of your relationships, including the one you have with yourself.
If you’re ready to do meaningful work, individually or as a couple, I’d be honoured to support you.
I see clients in-person and via Telehealth at West End, Brisbane on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every second Saturday.
